Former TV news anchor Michele Marsh dead at 63

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Former television news anchor Michele Marsh died Tuesday after a long battle with breast cancer.

The Emmy award winner was a pioneer in the New York television market and was among the the first female news anchors.

She inspired many women to go into an industry once dominated by men.

Marsh was 63 years old.
