NEW YORK - Two people were injured after a boat exploded at a marina in Old Bridge, New Jersey on Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the incident happened at around 3:20 p.m. at the Raritan Marina in Laurence Harbor.
The explosion caused a 57-year-old Old Bridge resident to be launched into the water, where he was pulled out by bystanders.
The victim sustained burns to his legs and face and was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for treatment.
In addition, a 47-year-old South Amboy resident suffered blast injuries from glass to his stomach and arms, and was taken to Bayshore Medical Center for treatment.
