A commuter NYC Ferry boat got stuck in a sandbar just off the Rockaways on a bitterly cold Wednesday night.

It happened at about 6:10 p.m. north of Rockaway Point in Coney Island Channel, according to authorities.

The ferry was carrying 27 passengers. No one was hurt.

Several FDNY and NYPD vessels responded but had to keep their distance from the stuck boat to avoid also running aground.

Instead, responders used smaller inflatable boats to dock at the ferry's stern to rescue passengers two by two.

The ferry's operator is arranging to have it towed off the sandbar, the FDNY said.
