Dozens of bulldogs available for adoption in SoCal

Dozens of bulldogs are available for adoption in Westminster after they were rescued from a puppy mill.

Westminster Adoption Group and Services received 78 French and English bulldogs after they were seized from a breeder who kept the pups in squalor, according to local media.

The nonprofit began accepting applications for adopting the dogs on November 14.

The group wrote on Facebook that the process for adoption is application, selection, interview, meet and greet if applicant has a dog or dogs, and lottery. They add that applications must be emailed to wagsbulldogs@gmail.com and that dogs are not being considered on a first come first pick basis but that everyone has an equal opportunity based on application review.

WAGS says it has already begun spay and neutering and no bulldog will leave the property before being altered.
