If you saw Sarah Bolton, 12, zooming along the zip line at West Hills Day Camp in Melville, Long Island, you would never guess that she is wheelchair-bound as a result of leukodystrophy, a disorder that leads to the degeneration of the brain's white matter.

For Sarah, her two weeks at West Hills have been life-changing. Sarah's attitude has made the experience truly special. She has jumped head first into activities that even non-wheelchair-bound campers have found intimidating.

For the camp's leadership and staff, Sarah has given as much as she has received. And for the other campers, Sarah's energy is motivating.

At the end of the day, how she has been treated at West Hills Day Camp made Sarah feel truly at home.
