Deadly stabbing on Staten Island
A man was stabbed to death Wednesday evening on Staten Island.
NEW YORK - The NYPD is investigating a deadly stabbing on Staten Island.
It happened just before 8 p.m. Wednesday on Elizabeth St. in the West Brighton neighborhood.
37-year-old Nicholas Nelson was stabbed in the neck.
EMS rushed him to Richmond University Medical Center. He did not survive his wounds.
The attacker was dressed from head to toe in black clothing. The NYPD later said they arrested 26-year-old Eric Wilson of Staten Island in connection with the killing.
He is charged with murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
