Cop accused of chocolate store rampage

A probationary NYPD officer was caught on video after going into a rage at a chocolate shop in Stamfor, Conn.

It happened Sunday evening at the Godiva shop at the Stamford Town Center. around 6:30 p.m. on the report of an assault.

Amanda Villafane, 30, of Brooklyn apparently flew into a rage after being told the shop was closed.  Police say the threatened violence against the worker and spewed profanity.

Ralph Jimenez, whose sister works at the store, recorded video of the incident on his phone and uploaded it to YouTube.

Villafane's companion, Christopher Salvadore, allegedly punched Jimenez, giving him a bloody nose according to police.

Responding police officers had to force Villafane to the ground and put handcuffs on her.  She was charged with resisting arrest, threatening, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Salvadore was charged with assault, criminal mischief, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.
