Controversy over poster at Desert Ridge High School
MESA, Ariz. (KSAZ) - A poster at a Valley high school is raising some eyebrows about male and female stereotypes. It sends a message that if girls dress pretty, boys will not be able to concentrate and get good grades.
Staff at Desert Ridge High School say the poster was printed at the school and the librarian put it up a few days ago. They acknowledged after speaking with the librarian that it was a poor judgment call.
The school has removed the poster, but some wonder why it was put up in the first place.
