Chrysler recalls over 300,000 vehicles

Fiat Chrysler is recalling more than 322,000 sedans worldwide -- due to a defect that can cause side air bags to inflate if doors are slammed too hard.

The recall covers certain Dodge Chargers from the 2011 to 2014 model years, mainly in the US and Canada.

The news follows last week's recall of more than 800,000 Dodge Ram pickup trucks for the same problem.

Three minor injuries have been linked to the safety issue.
