School bus crashes into New Jersey home

A man is under arrest for allegedly crashing a school bus into a home in New Jersey on Friday morning.

A school bus crashed into a home in West Caldwell, New Jersey on Friday morning.

It happened in the area of Terrace Pl. and Passaic Ave. just after 9 a.m.

According to police, the driver, Anthony Stuckey, had just dropped off students at a nearby high school and was the only person on board the bus at the time of the crash.

The resident was not home at the time of the crash but told FOX 5 NY that he might have been killed if he had been working from home at the time.

Bus into house

A school bus crashed into a how in West Caldwell, New Jersey on Friday morning. There reportedly were no children on board. There were no immediate reported of injuries involving the driver or anyone inside the home.

A video from SkyFOX showed the front of the bus had crashed right through a brick exterior wall of the home and was partially inside.

The back door of the bus was opened as police investigated.  The bus had Phoenix Transportation on the side of it.

PSE&G was called to the scene to deal with power issues.

No other details were immediately available.
