NEW YORK - Meet Kenny Gomberg and his son Alex. Together with Kenny's brother-in-law Irv, they're the Brooklyn Seltzer Boys, a fourth-generation family business based in Canarsie.
In a city where there used to be hundreds—if not thousands—of seltzermen, everybody has a memory about the bubbly drink.
But now the Brooklyn Seltzer Boys are the only ones left bottling seltzer the old-fashioned way. All of the bottles are recycled, and each one tells a story. The taste? Well, just like their slogan says: it's so good, it hurts.
And while other seltzer companies have come and gone the Brooklyn Seltzer Boys are here to stay.
