Home Depot parking garage collapses in Brooklyn
BROOKLYN, N.Y. - A portion of the second floor of a parking garage at a Brooklyn Home Depot collapsed onto the ground level on Wednesday morning, the DOB said.
The FDNY received the call around 10 a.m.
At the scene, the DOB inspectors saw an approximately 3’ x 18’ concrete piece of the second-floor parking deck had collapsed onto the first floor.
The Home Depot is located at Hamilton Avenue near the Gowanus Expressway.
No injuries have been reported and the DOB's investigation remains ongoing.
