Boys rob ice cream truck at gunpoint
An ice cream truck stop ended with an armed robbery.
The 30-year-old vendor claims a group of 5-6 boys robbed him during a stop in the southeastern Virginia city of Newport News. It happened about 5 p.m. on Sunday evening.
One of the boys allegedly asked for ice cream before pointing a gun at the driver and demanding money. The driver handed over cash and then the group ran away. Police say there are no injuries. The investigation is continuing.
