Boy, 11, struck in Queens hit-and-run

Police are looking for the hit-and-run driver who struck an 11-year-old boy in Queens while on his bike Tuesday night.

Security cameras in the Bayswater section of the borough captured the moment the vehicle slammed into the boy on his bicycle at the intersection of Healy Street and Dickens Street at about 7:30 p.m.

The black sedan continues traveling northbound on Dickens Street after sending the boy flying high into the air. He bounces off the windshield as the car keeps going and dragging his bike several yards.

The boy was transported to Long Island Jewish Hospital. He suffered internal injuries and was listed in stable condition.
