Body parts stolen from cemeteries in New Orleans

People in New Orleans report human remains are being stolen from cemeteries across the city.

Loved ones of the deceased report bones, teeth and other remains have been stolen recently.

Keyona Parish has family members buried in Holt Cemetery.

"I think that's very nasty and disgusting and how would you feel if that was your family?  It's no words to describe that," Parish says.

The state attorney general's office is investigating the incidents.  The penalty for removing the body parts is only a misdemeanor.
