GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Officials say a body found at the bottom of the Grand Canyon is believed to be a missing Texas woman.
Officials with the Grand Canyon National Park Service say the body was found on Wednesday afternoon near the Black Bridge at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
Investigators believe the body is 38-year-old Sarah Beadle of Fort Worth, Texas. Beadle was reported missing on August 1 after she failed to arrive at the Bright Angel Campground, where she had a reservation.
Officials say Beadle was hiking with two children to the campground. The two children were found safe.
The investigation is ongoing by the National Park Service and the Coconino County Medical Examiner.
