Bacon Brothers drop album, announce tour
NEW YORK (AP) — You could easily call Friday "National Actors Releasing Albums Day": Kevin Bacon, Scarlett Johannsson and Erza Miller are among the famous faces dropping new music.
Kevin and Michael Bacon make up the Bacon Brothers, who have been on the music scene for over two decades, releasing their debut album, "Forosoco," in 1997. Their latest, a self-titled 10-track set, comes out on Friday.
Also on Friday Johannsson will release an EP with Pete Yorn called "Apart." Miller, who has appeared in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and "Justice League," is in the band Sons of an Illustrious Father, where he plays the drums and sings. They will drop their sophomore album on Friday.
The Bacon Brothers will also launch a tour Friday. It wraps on Aug. 11.
