NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - The trading floor at Cantor Fitzgerald on Monday looked like business as usual but it wasn't. The traders were making money for charity in honor of the hundreds of co-workers they lost on 9/11.
David Costable, star of "Billions" revved up the action. He was just one of many celebrities coming out to support this multimillion-dollar effort.
Other celebrities who came to raise money for charity included Kristen Davis of "Sex & the City," baseball legend Darryl Strawberry, model Karolina Kurkova, "Hamilton" actor Christopher Jackson, screen legend Robert De Niro, "Law & Order: SVU" actor Tamara Tunie, former Mets pitcher John Franco, and many more.
The traders worked the phones to raise as much money as possible in this annual tribute to the 658 Cantor and 61 Eurobrokers employees who died on 9/11.
Cantor Fitzgerald said 100 percent of the money raised goes to charities picked by the celebrities. But this year a portion is being earmarked for hurricane relief.
