73-year-old man hospitalized after falling into open cellar door in the Bronx

NEW YORK - A 73-year-old man has been hospitalized after falling through an open cellar door in the Bronx.

The incident happened in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx.

According to the FDNY, the man was walking along Broadway at West 232nd Street at around 2:30 p.m. when he fell through the open cellar door on a sidewalk.

There is currently no word on his condition.
