$5,000 reward for information on puppy thrower

The Nassau County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals says a $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the person who threw a puppy out of a moving vehicle.

The incident occurred in Uniondale on Saturday.

The SPCA says it will hold a news conference Tuesday to discuss the condition of the puppy and what is being done to track down the person who threw it from the vehicle.
