4 arrested in thwarted Paris terror attack, report

Four people were reportedly arrested Wednesday for allegedly plotting a terror attack in Paris, reports French media.

Those arrested had been planning an attack in the heart of French capital city in the near future, according to various reports.

They were taken into custody in two separate locations outside of Paris.

French security forces had files on all four for having ties to radical Islam, TF1 reported on its website.

The arrests come a day after French and Belgian officers raised a house in Brussels that lead to a shoot-out with at least two suspects killed.

In November 2015, three suicide bombers blew themselves up outside a stadium during an international soccer match .They were one of three teams of attackers who also targeted a rock concert at the Bataclan theater as well popular night spots in a trendy Paris neighborhood.

The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the carnage, which left France in mourning and on edge.
