NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - Police say a man wielding a machete slashed three other men outside a Queens restaurant early Sunday morning.
The violence followed an argument inside Cibao Bar and Restaurant, a Dominican eatery, in the Jackson Heights neighborhood. Police say the suspect left teh bar, got a machete and waiting for the men to leave the bar. When they got outside, police say he attacked them.
Police say a 19-year-old man suffered cuts to his shoulder and and ended up fracturing his wrist, a 32-year-old man suffered a laceration to his left shoulder, and the third, 22-year-old victim was slashed on his head, left ring finger and left pinky.
The first two victims were taken to Boothe Memorial Hospital in stable condition. The third victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.
Guillermo Torres, 20, of Queens was arrested Sunday. Police say he faces several charges including assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
