NEW YORK - The NYPD is asking for the public's help tracking down two suspects who shot two teens inside a playground in Crown Heights.
On Oct. 1 at about 9:45 p.m., two gunmen approached a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy in a playground on Sterling Place. The suspects opened fire on the teens grazing the 15-year-old boy in the shoulder and shooting the 16-year-old in the leg.
An ambulance transported the 16-year-old boy to an area hospital. The 15-year-old went to the hospital on his own.
Both victims were in stable condition.

Anyone who recognizes the teens from the surveillance video or has information about the suspects is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Earlier this week, a 13-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the shooting of another 13-year-old boy in the Hunts Point Playground. The boy, who goes by the nickname ‘Chulo,’ was charged with attempted murder, assault, and harassment.
