2 male teachers claim female colleague harassed them

NEW YORK (FOX5NY.COM) - A female teacher from this Long Island school is accused of verbally and sexually harassing at least two of her male coworkers. Valley Stream North High School Social Studies teachers John Brennan and Al Daddino filed complaints against the district for not doing anything about these allegations. They claim that since 2010, Cecilia Sanossian, the former department chair, made both men feel uncomfortable in front of colleagues and even while they were teaching to students.

Attorney Lenny Leeds calls it an unusual case because there are so many witnesses who too have written and spoken with the principal. Brennan, who feels like he has no support from higher up, was told there is not sufficient evidence.

The district said it is aware of allegations and is conducting an internal investigation. As of now all three teachers are coming back to the school when it starts on September 2.
