The NYPD says two women are dead after a car crash on the Staten Island expressway Sunday night.
STATEN ISLAND - Two people are dead after a fiery car crash on Staten Island.
It happened Sunday night just after 11 on the eastbound side of the Staten Island expressway.
Police say a Chevy Corvette struck a guardrail and burst into flames.
The 21-year-old male driver and 22-year-old female passenger were both pronounced dead on arrival.
There were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
