NEW YORK - The NYPD is investigating three separate shootings in less than three hours in Brooklyn on Friday.
Police say 16-year-old Kyla Simone Sobries-Batties was at the Gowanus Playground in Boerum Hill when she was struck by a stray bullet. She was rushed to the hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
The NYPD's 84th Precinct released photos of two suspected wanted in connection to the shooting Saturday evening. Police say they are searching for three suspects, all believed to be teenagers.
Barely 10 minutes after Sobries-Batties was shot, there was another shooting near the Barclays Center where a man was shot in the arm.
Finally, a man was shot and killed in Sunset Park soon afterwards.
There is currently no word on if the three shootings are connected.
Three 16-year-olds were shot and killed in New York City last week alone.
