BRONX - A 15-year-old boy was shot in the shoulder Monday afternoon in the Bronx, police said.

It happened at 2:28 p.m. at 100 Alcott Place in Co-op City.

Police said the victim was shot in the left shoulder. 

He was taken to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition, police said. 

The motive is unclear at this time. There is no description of the suspect.

The investigation remains ongoing.
