1 child dead after Bronx daycare incident

1 child is dead and three others were hospitalized after a group of children were sickened inside of a daycare in the Bronx on Friday. All four children were reportedly treated with Narcan.

One child has died, and three others were reportedly hospitalized after an incident at a daycare center in the Bronx on Friday.

A 9-1-1 call reportedly came in at around 2:45 p.m. for children who had been overcome by something at the daycare on Morris Avenue.

When first responders arrived, they did find the children sickened, although what they were sickened by is still unknown.

The 1-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene, while two 2-year-old boys and a baby girl remain hospitalized.

All four children were treated with Narcan, a medicine used to treat drug overdoses from opioids.

The circumstances around the incident are still under investigation.
