MLB star inspires NY fan with speech impediment

Score yet another off-the-field victory for Houston Astros World Series MVP George Springer.

19-year-old Eric Zucker from New Rochelle, New York, deals with a speech impediment throughout his daily life. He stutters much like Springer. The teen watched Astros slugger Springer's interview during the 2017 MLB All-Star Game where he described how he dealt with the impediment and how he wants to help anyone who have similar issues.

Zucker later watched an interview with Springer about all of that and was so overwhelmed that he reached out to the Astros to tell them how much he admired Springer and wanted to come to a game. The Astros made it happen and Zucker had the chance to watch batting practice at Minute Maid Park. He was even fortunate enough to spend a few minutes with Springer outside the team locker room.

It's a moment that Zucker will cherish for the rest of his life.
