Storm targets New York City area, ice a major concern
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A predicted storm did not bring a lot of snow to the New York City area but it brought quite a bit of rain that caused localized flooding.
The rain started after 5 p.m. on Saturday.
There's also a danger of road surfaces freezing up without warning as temperatures fall on Sunday.
What might be worse than the weekend storm is the cold weather that sweeps in after it. The high on Monday will not approach freezing and temperatures at night will feel below 0 with the wind chill.
