Pick-pocketing female crew targets subway riders

The NYPD is asking for the public's help identifying three women wanted for pick-pocketing straphangers. Most of the victims are also women.

On July 24, one of the women stole another woman's wallet while aboard a northbound No. 4 while the train approached East 42 Street and Grand Central Terminal.

On July 31, at approximately 6 p.m.one of the women approached a 71-year-old man on board a southbound "6" train approaching the Astor Place subway station and removed his wallet which contained multiple credit cards.

On August 9, the victim was getting off an MTA bus at 79th Street and Madison Avenue when she realized her wallet with multiple credit cards was gone.

On Sept. 22 at about 2 p.m. at the 59th Street and 5th Ave subway station, a 36-year-old woman discovered her wallet missing. One of her credit cards was used to buy $600 in merchandise at the Manhattan flagship Bloomingdales store.

On Sept. 24, at about 3:50 p.m. a 43-year-old woman was walking on 5th Ave. at 60th St. when she noticed her wallet was missing.  A woman was captured on surveillance video attempting to use the victim's credit cards but the charges were declined.

On Sept. 29, at about 4 p.m., the suspect approached a 74-year-old woman on a northbound No. 1 train near the 96th Street Station and stole her purse. The suspects were seen using the stolen credit cards.

One of the women is described as black with light skin and black hair in a bun, about 55-years-old and 200 lbs. She was wearing a dress, tan dress shoes, and carrying a red-orange purse.  Another suspect is black, light-skinned and 50 years old.  The final suspect is black, in her 20s to 30s and was last seen wearing all pink clothing.
