New York woman celebrates 107th birthday

NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - Jeanne Veillard turned 107 this month and celebrated the milestone with her 110 year old husband, who celbrated his birthday a little more than a month ago.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Veillard live at home with their daughter, Marie Veillard, who cares for them in Spring Valley, NY.

They are the oldest married couple in Rockland County and have been married for 85 years!  They are believed to be one of the 10th longest marriages on record and are quickly moving up the list.

The Veilands were born in Haiti and came to the United States in the 1960s.

The couple has four children, a dozen grandchildren, and at least 15 great-grandchildren.
