Meghan Markle ignites royal fever on Manhattan's Upper East Side
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Meghan mania hit the Upper East Side.
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, was in New York on Tuesday. Everywhere she went, paparazzi and adoring fans clamored for a look.
Markle is staying at the Mark Hotel on East 77th Street, where freezing temperatures didn't deter New Yorkers and tourists who waited with cellphone cameras ready to snap.
She was spotted showing off her baby bump at various Upper East Side spots—first at the Met Breuer Museum and then the Surrey Hotel, where she had lunch with pal and former "Suits" costar Abigail Spencer at Cafe Boulud.
Meghan wore sunglasses, a black William Vintage trapeze coat and neutral high heels with a matching bag, the AP reported.
She was in town for what is rumored to be a baby shower.
Meghan and Prince Harry announced the pregnancy in October.
