Man used box cutter to slash victims on subway: Cops
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Cops are on the hunt for a man who assaulted and robbed two men on a subway train in Brooklyn with a box cutter.
The suspect approached the men on the northbound Q train at about 4 a.m. on Friday as it rolled into the Avenue M station.
He demanded their property before slashing both victims in the head, arms and torso, said police. The suspect made off with one of the victim's construction tools, cellphones and cash, added cops.
EMS responded and transported the 47-year-old and 30-year-old victims to Maimonides Hospital in stable condition.
A photo of the suspect was released by the NYPD on Wednesday.
He described by police as Hispanic, in his twenties, with long black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark hat, dark jacket and blue jeans.
